40+ Years of Private Collecting

Hougai Tang Gallery grew from the private collection of Jean-Pierre Charles Roquette — JP — former CEO of ELEE China. Since his retirement, JP has opened that collection to others who share the same eye. The collection focuses on works of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, each individually selected and properly imported in full compliance with international standards.

We believe a painting does not need to be explained. It only needs to find the right person.
